Islamabad (HRNW) – The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) have recovered a stolen vehicle near Sara-e-Kharboza on GT Road during a routine patrol and handed it over to the relevant police station for further legal proceedings.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the recovered vehicle had been reported stolen two days earlier from the jurisdiction of I-9 Police Station in Islamabad.
The spokesperson stated that while conducting routine patrol duties, Motorway Police officers noticed a vehicle parked in suspicious circumstances along the roadside. When the officers approached to offer assistance, they found no one inside the vehicle.
After inspecting the vehicle and verifying its details through official records, the officers confirmed that it had been reported stolen. The vehicle was subsequently taken into custody and transferred to the concerned police authorities for further investigation and legal action.
Motorway Police officials stated that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend those responsible for the theft.
