Noreen Niazi Submits Response to NCCIA Notice, Seeks Details of Allegations

Islamabad (HRNW)- PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Noreen Niazi, has submitted a written response through her lawyer to a notice issued by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) regarding alleged objectionable statements against state institutions.

In her response, Noreen Niazi questioned the legality of the notice, arguing that the allegations and the relevant legal provisions cited in it are unclear. She also requested the NCCIA to provide complete details of the complaint and the allegations against her.

In the written reply, Noreen Niazi denied the allegations as baseless and stated that she would fully cooperate with the authorities within the framework of the law while reserving all her constitutional and legal rights.

Speaking to the media outside the NCCIA office, her counsel, Faisal Malik Advocate, said the address mentioned in the notice was incorrect and that the matter had come to their attention through social media. He requested that a copy of the complaint be provided and that the legal basis under which Noreen Niazi had been summoned be clarified.

According to the lawyer, an initial response has been submitted and four weeks’ time has been requested to provide further details. He added that Noreen Niazi is currently abroad and therefore cannot appear immediately before the agency.

Faisal Malik Advocate further stated that Noreen Niazi respects all state institutions and is a patriotic Pakistani who should be treated in accordance with the law. He also said that her brother had devoted his life to bringing recognition to the country.
