Karachi Court Sets Date to Indict Drug Suspect Anmol Alias Pinky in Multiple Cases

Karachi (HRNW)- A court in Karachi has fixed a date for the indictment of alleged drug suspect Anmol alias Pinky in multiple narcotics-related cases.

According to court proceedings before the South Judicial Magistrate, the hearing was held in connection with drug cases registered at Gizri Police Station, where the court scheduled the indictment of the accused.

According to jail sources, copies of the challans and witness statements in six separate cases were provided to the accused while in jail. Acting on the court’s orders, prison staff personally delivered the documents to the accused.

The court adjourned further proceedings for two weeks and fixed the next hearing for the formal framing of charges.

Police officials said the cases against Anmol alias Pinky were registered between 2020 and 2022, and that the accused had remained a proclaimed absconder in those cases. Following the arrest in a separate case registered at Garden Police Station, the accused was subsequently arrested in the pending narcotics cases as well.
