Beirut (HRNW)- Israeli warplanes and artillery have targeted areas in southern Lebanon, including the town of Mansouri, further escalating tensions and raising concerns over the safety of civilians.
According to Lebanese media reports cited by IRNA, Israeli warplanes carried out strikes on Mansouri on Tuesday night, while Israeli artillery also shelled the area. Details regarding casualties and property damage were not immediately available.
The latest attacks come amid continued military tensions in southern Lebanon, where Israeli military operations have caused significant casualties and displacement. According to the report, more than one million Lebanese people have been forced to flee their homes since the start of the large-scale operations on March 2.
Lebanon has continued to regard the Israeli military presence in parts of southern Lebanon as a threat to its sovereignty and regional security. Observers warn that further military action could intensify the conflict and worsen the humanitarian situation for civilians already affected by violence and displacement.
