Alleged Illegal Construction in North Nazimabad No. 1, SBCA Authorities Urged to Take Immediate Notice

Karachi (HRNW): Questions have been raised by citizens regarding ongoing or completed construction at 1B4/4 and 1B8/1 in Nazimabad No. 1, Karachi.

According to photographs received, construction activity has reportedly been taking place at both locations. Residents and citizens have called for a comprehensive review of the property records, approved building plans, maps and permissions issued by the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) to determine whether the existing structures comply with approved plans and applicable building regulations.

Through the media, citizens have urged the Director General SBCA, Deputy Commissioner Central, Director Central, concerned Deputy Director and Building Inspector to conduct immediate on-site inspections of both locations.

Residents have demanded that if the constructions are found to be in violation of approved plans or applicable laws, legal action should be taken against those responsible. Conversely, if the constructions comply with all legal requirements, the authorities should clarify the position publicly to address concerns among residents.

The relevant authorities have been urged to take immediate notice of the matter and conduct a transparent and impartial inquiry.
