Rare Video of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Released, Date and Location Unclear

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian media have released another rare video showing Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei presiding over an academic session, where he is seen reviewing a student’s research paper on the “Islamic Security Model.”

According to Iranian media, Khamenei approved the research paper, while the footage also contains his voice. However, the exact date and location of the recording have not been disclosed, making it impossible to independently verify whether the footage is recent or from an earlier period.

Earlier, the semi-official Mehr news agency had also released footage showing Mojtaba Khamenei among students during an academic session, but similarly did not provide details about when or where it was recorded.

The limited public appearances of Mojtaba Khamenei have fueled speculation about his health and activities, making the release of the latest footage particularly significant. Reuters has reported that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Khamenei in late July, while Iranian officials have attributed his limited public presence to security concerns.
