Hajj Flight Operations Continue: Thousands of Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia

KARACHI (HRNW ): The departure of Hajj pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia is steadily progressing through ongoing flight operations. According to official data, 32,454 pilgrims under the government scheme have reached Saudi Arabia via 126 flights, while 4,489 private scheme pilgrims have also arrived.

Key updates regarding the operations include:

  • Direct Flights to Jeddah: Direct Hajj flights to Jeddah are commencing today, May 4.

  • Daily Departures: A total of 4,377 pilgrims are scheduled to depart today from various Pakistani cities via 17 flights.

  • Lost and Found Services: The Main Control Office’s department for missing and recovery has successfully reunited 6 pilgrims with their groups and recovered 37 wheelchairs and 3,700 bags for their owners.

  • Guidance in Haram: Haram guides have provided navigation assistance and correct route information to more than 13,000 pilgrims so far.

  • Medical Services: The Hajj Medical Mission is actively providing healthcare services, including 5,000 OPD consultations, 132 dental procedures, 28 X-rays, 18 lab tests, 8 ultrasounds, and 5 ECGs.
