Sindh Government Cracks Down on Fire Safety Violations: High-Risk Buildings to Be Sealed

Karachi (HRNW): The Sindh government has announced strict action against high-risk buildings violating fire safety regulations, including sealing of non-compliant structures.

During a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary of Sindh, officials reported that inspections were conducted on 3,633 buildings across the province. Of these, 3,319 buildings received notices for fire safety deficiencies, while 889 were classified as high-risk.

The Chief Secretary directed that medium- and low-risk buildings implement immediate corrective measures, while high-risk and non-compliant buildings will face sealing and strict legal action.
