Karachi (HRNW): Factory owners in the North Karachi industrial area have reportedly been targeted with extortion calls.
The North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry stated that more than 100 of its members received threatening calls originating from Philippine and Kazakhstan numbers.
Complaints have been filed with the police and relevant law enforcement agencies. The association has appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir for immediate assistance and called for a strict crackdown on the extortionists.
