Karachi (HRNW)– Like the rest of the country, International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Karachi. To eradicate corruption and create awareness among the people, a grand and enthusiastic rally was taken out from DC Office Sakhi Hassan in which people from different walks of life participated in large numbers.

The rally started from the office of Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem. Along with men and women, children also participated actively. The participants held banners highlighting the resolve of Pakistan and slogans against corruption in their hands. The full participation and sloganeering of innocent children was a prominent aspect of the rally.
The government officials present at the ceremony reiterated their commitment to eradicate corruption. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem said:
“Corruption is the biggest obstacle to development. Today we pledge that with the cooperation of the citizens, we will rid the country of corruption, so that the coming generations can have a safe and prosperous future.”
At the end of the rally, the participants expressed their determination to continue the vigorous struggle against corruption. According to the local administration, this rally is proof that the people and the government are united for the goal of a corruption-free Pakistan.
