Government Provides Rs5 Million Aid to Families Affected by PIMS Tragedy

Rawalpindi (HRNW)- Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has handed over a Rs5 million cheque to two families who lost their children in the PIMS tragedy, saying that financial assistance can never compensate for the loss of precious lives.

According to HRNW News, Mustafa Kamal and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, along with CDA deputy commissioners, visited the affected families in Rawalpindi and conveyed condolences and sympathy on behalf of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

The federal ministers expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and shared the grief of the bereaved families. Mustafa Kamal said the loss suffered by mothers who have been separated from their children cannot be expressed in words.

He said the government had come to the families to share their pain and provide whatever support was possible, while emphasizing that no financial assistance could serve as a substitute for the lives lost.
