Islamabad (HRNW)- The Ministry of National Health has ordered new appointments and additional assignments to key administrative positions at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), with the changes taking effect immediately and remaining in force until further orders.
Dr. Muhammad Salman, Chief Executive Officer of NIH Islamabad, has been appointed Executive Director of PIMS (BS-21) on a three-year deputation. He will also retain the additional charge of CEO, NIH.
Dr. Altaf Hussain, Professor of ENT at PIMS, has been assigned the additional charge of Joint Executive Director (Non-Medical, BS-20), while Dr. Nuzhat Yasmin, Professor of Pediatrics Medicine, has been given the additional charge of Joint Executive Director, Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Shumaila, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, has been assigned the charge of Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr. Rehmana Waris, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, has been given the charge of Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital for three months, while Dr. Amina, Medical Officer Pediatrics, has been assigned the charge of Senior Registrar Obstetrics/Gynaecology at MCH for three months.
