All Afghan Refugees Repatriated from Gurdi Jungle Camp in Chagai

Chagai (HRNW)The administration of Chagai district, in coordination with Dalbandin Rifles, has completed the registration of all Afghan refugees residing in the Gurdi Jungle Camp and sent them back to Afghanistan.

Following the departure of the refugees, authorities have begun demolishing empty houses and shops in the camp. The Gurdi Jungle Camp, the largest Afghan refugee camp in Balochistan, previously housed around 70,000 people, all of whom have now been repatriated after proper documentation and formalities.
