France Deploys Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carrier Near Strait of Hormuz Amid Security Concerns

Paris (HRNW)- France has deployed its nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle for a possible defense mission near the Strait of Hormuz, amid rising regional security concerns.

According to the French Defense Ministry in Paris, the warship is currently sailing south of the Suez Canal toward the Red Sea and could be deployed to the Strait of Hormuz if required.

Reports indicate that France and the United Kingdom are preparing a multinational mission aimed at ensuring safe passage for commercial shipping in the region. French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are reportedly leading the initiative.
