Jet Fuel Prices Reach Record High of Rs 471 Per Liter Following Massive Hike

KARACHI (HRNW) – The cost of aviation operations in Pakistan has reached a critical point following a staggering increase of Rs 83 per liter in jet fuel prices. With this latest adjustment, the price of jet fuel has surged to an unprecedented record level of Rs 471 per liter.

This marks the fourth time jet fuel prices have been hiked within the month of March alone. Since March 1, when the price stood at Rs 188 per liter, the total increase has reached a massive Rs 283 per liter.

The sudden and extreme spike in fuel costs has made it increasingly difficult for airlines to maintain their flight operations. Industry experts warn that this historic rise will likely lead to a further significant increase in airfares, placing an even greater burden on domestic and international travelers.
