KARACHI (HRNW) – Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has officially called upon the citizens of the province to join the global community in observing “Earth Hour” tonight.
Emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation, the Governor stated that a one-hour sacrifice of electricity is indispensable for the protection of our planet. He highlighted that energy conservation serves as a vital guarantee for a bright and secure future for the next generation.
Governor Hashmi urged all citizens to demonstrate responsibility by switching off all unnecessary lights and electrical appliances. In a show of solidarity, the Governor House will also observe the event, with all non-essential lights remaining switched off from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
According to the Governor, “Earth Hour” is a practical expression of love and awareness for our planet, and collective action is now more vital than ever to combat the growing challenges of climate change.
