KU Department of Chemical Engineering hosts PEC OBA-Based re-accreditation visit

Karachi (HRNW)- The Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Karachi successfully hosted the Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) Re-accreditation Visit of the B.E. Chemical Engineering Program by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

The PEC Evaluation Team, led by Engineer Dr Hafiz Ashiq Hussain, along with Engineer Dr Khadija Qureshi, Engineer Dr Ghulamullah Kakar, and Engineer Soban Javed, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the program.

The review encompassed academic activities, laboratories, facilities, infrastructure, institutional support, documentation, and the implementation of the OBE.

The KU’s Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi welcomed the PEC Evaluation Team in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr Bilqees Gul, and the KU Registrar Professor Dr Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, and others.

The KU’s Department of Chemical Engineering sincerely appreciates the valuable guidance, professional feedback, and constructive recommendations provided by the PEC Evaluation Team.

The department also acknowledges the dedicated support and cooperation of the University administration, faculty members, supporting staff, and students, whose collective efforts contributed to the successful completion of the re-accreditation visit.
