According to a formal memorandum issued by the Ministry of Interior, the provincial government has enforced a complete 60-day ban on the external use of drones as a preemptive safety measure.

Reason for the Ban: The Sindh government stated that the current security landscape necessitates strict measures to prevent any potential misuse of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Scope and Duration: The ban is effective immediately across the entire province of Sindh and will remain in force for a period of 60 days, unless modified by further orders.

Exemptions: Only intelligence and law enforcement agencies are permitted to use drones for official purposes during this period.

Legal Consequences: Authorities have issued strict instructions to register cases under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against anyone found violating the ban.

Enforcement Power: Station House Officers (SHOs) have been fully authorized to take immediate legal action against individuals breaching the Section 144 order.
The administration has urged citizens and media organizations to comply with the order to ensure public safety and support security agencies in maintaining law and order.
