Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Arrest 3 Extortionists of “Samad Kathiawari Group” in New Karachi

KARACHI (HRNW)- Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), acting on credible intelligence, conducted a successful operation in the New Karachi area, apprehending three suspects involved in an organized extortion network.

Identity and Role of the Suspects:

According to the Rangers spokesperson, the arrested individuals have been identified as:

  1. Hammad Patni, son of Rafiq

  2. Shahzad Patni, son of Ghulam Hussain

  3. Saad, son of Ramzani

Details reveal that the suspects were active members of the “Samad Kathiawari Group.” Their operational role included collecting extortion money, providing bank account numbers for illegal transactions, and withdrawing funds to deliver them to the group’s key operatives.

Criminal Affiliations:

Investigations have established that the suspects operated under the directives of notorious extortionists Samad Kathiawari and Osama bin Jamil, who are affiliated with the infamous Wasiullah Lakho Gang. Rangers officials stated that raids are currently underway to arrest the remaining members of the gang.

Legal Proceedings:

Following their arrest, the suspects have been handed over to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) for further legal action and comprehensive interrogation.
