Iranian President Says Lebanon Attacks Violate Ceasefire, Warns Peace Efforts at Risk

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has stated that the Israeli attacks in Lebanon are a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement and warned that such actions could seriously undermine peace efforts in the region. Addressing a large public gathering on the occasion of the Chehlum of martyred Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the president said that the continued strikes on Lebanon are not only irresponsible but could also render the ongoing ceasefire talks meaningless.

He further made it clear that Iran will not leave the Lebanese people alone, signaling continued support for Lebanon amid rising regional tensions. Analysts say the statement may further intensify diplomatic discussions surrounding the ceasefire process.
