Washington (HRNW)- A significant development has emerged in the Middle East regarding the Iran-Iraq conflict, as US President Donald Trump claimed that the ongoing war could end in the next two to three weeks, adding that Iran does not need any new agreement for this.
Meanwhile, Kuwait confirmed a severe fire at fuel tanks in its international airport following an Iranian attack, creating widespread panic in the region. Airstrikes by Israel and the US continue in parts of Iran, targeting pharmaceutical companies and steel plants in Isfahan and Farakhshahr.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that he has no confidence in possible negotiations with the US, though messages have been received from Washington.
Tensions are also rising in Lebanon, where Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced plans to demolish homes in southern Lebanon, preventing millions of displaced citizens from returning. Experts warn that the escalating situation could trigger a humanitarian crisis and pose serious threats to global peace and the economy.
