LPG Prices Surge to Rs350 per Kg Amid Middle East War

Karachi (HRNW)- The ongoing war in the Middle East has triggered a sharp rise in LPG prices in Pakistan, following earlier increases in petrol prices.

According to LPG Marketing Association leader Ali Haider, the retail price of LPG has jumped from Rs250 per kg to between Rs320 and Rs350 per kg. The association says the conflict involving Iran has reduced LPG supply, which is pushing prices higher in the local market.

The LPG Marketing Association has urged the government to arrange LPG imports from Russia or Oman to stabilize supply and control the rising prices affecting consumers.
