Karachi (HRNW): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders have reaffirmed their commitment to democracy, stating that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was the true guardian of democratic values and that her loss cannot be compensated.
Deputy Secretary Information PPP East Karachi and Member RCC Bilawal House, Shahnila Khanzada, along with District Secretary Khadija Chandio, expressed these views while speaking to the media after visiting the mausoleums of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Larkana.
Shahnila Khanzada said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the hope of the entire nation, while Aseefa Bhutto reflects the legacy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. She expressed confidence that Bilawal Bhutto would become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan, adding that party workers would fulfill the debt of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s sacrifice by bringing him to power.
She further stated that the Bhutto family is the foundation of Pakistan’s democracy and that the Pakistan Peoples Party continues to follow the philosophy of “democracy is the best revenge.” She added that visiting the martyrs’ mausoleum rekindles the spirit and commitment of party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Khadija Chandio said that the Pakistan Peoples Party is the country’s greatest political force and that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto still lives in the hearts of the people. She added that Bilawal Bhutto is the symbol of hope for the nation and that party workers will never allow the sacrifices of the Bhutto family to go in vain.
