PTI leaders mark Quaid-i-Azam’s birth anniversary in Karachi

KARACHI (HRNW)-On the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Sindh president Haleem Adil Sheikh, along with PTI Karachi president Raja Azhar, General Secretary Arslan Khalid, Senior Vice President Faheem Khan and other party leaders, cut a cake to celebrate the occasion at the Insaf House Secretariat in Karachi.

Speaking on the occasion, Haleem Adil Sheikh extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation on Quaid-i-Azam’s birth anniversary and paid rich tribute to the unparalleled services of the founder of Pakistan. He said the life of Quaid-i-Azam remained a guiding light for building a dignified and civilised nation.

He added that the importance of Quaid-i-Azam’s teachings and sayings continued to grow with every passing day and that the lessons given by the founders of Pakistan could never be forgotten.

Haleem Adil Sheikh said that Imran Khan was the only leader at present who was following the ideology of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He stressed that economic stability could only be achieved through implementation of the Constitution and rule of law in line with Quaid’s principles, adding that progress was impossible without supremacy of law and protection of human rights.

He said Pakistan could not move forward without adhering to Quaid-i-Azam’s principles, adding that while Quaid-i-Azam had created Pakistan, Imran Khan would safeguard it.

Meanwhile, a separate delegation led by PTI Karachi Division president Raja Azhar, along with General Secretary Arslan Khalid, Senior Vice President Faheem Khan, MPA Rehan Bandudra, PTI leader MPA Sajid Mir, parliamentary leader Mubashir Hafizul Haq, Sarbuland Khan, Advocate Khan Zaman and other cabinet members, visited Mazar-i-Quaid to pay homage and offer fateha.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Azhar said that the nation was celebrating the 149th birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and extended congratulations to the people of Pakistan. He said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s vision of Pakistan was based on justice, merit, rule of law and minority rights, which Quaid-i-Azam transformed into reality in the form of an independent state.

He said the Pakistan envisioned by Imran Khan under his leadership was the same Pakistan imagined by Quaid-i-Azam. He added that the oppression, injustice and coercion being witnessed in the country today did not reflect Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan nor Allama Iqbal’s dream.

Mr Azhar expressed confidence that a new Pakistan was taking shape under the leadership of Imran Khan, based on the vision of Quaid-i-Azam and the dream of Allama Iqbal. He said the nation needed unity and added that the people had already come together. He maintained that the foundation of the new Pakistan had already been laid.

He further said that the Pakistan founded on the night of the 27th of Ramazan on the principle of La ilaha illallah would be transformed into a true welfare, sovereign and ideological state under Imran Khan’s leadership.
