Bajaur (HRNW)- Police recovered 14 motorized rifles allegedly hidden by miscreants in the Jhangirabad area within the jurisdiction of Khar Police Station, preventing a potential threat to public safety.
Under the supervision of Circle DSP Khar Saeed-ur-Rehman, the Bomb Disposal Squad conducted an operation in the area and safely took the recovered weapons into custody. Further legal proceedings have been initiated.
DPO Bajaur Khan Zeb Mohmand said timely police action helped avert any major loss of life or property. He added that Bajaur Police remains committed to thwarting the plans of miscreants and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
The DPO urged residents to immediately inform police about any suspicious activity, objects or movements, saying public cooperation is essential to strengthening peace and security in the area.
