KARACHI (HRNW): Residents of a local neighborhood have expressed grave concern over illegal commercial construction and the establishment of a mezzanine floor on Plot No. 3F/9-19. They have appealed to high-ranking officials for immediate intervention.
According to a formal complaint filed by the residents, the key issues are as follows:

Violation of Building Laws: Residential property is being illegally converted for commercial use through the construction of shops and a mezzanine floor, which stands in direct violation of building regulations.

Public Nuisance: These unauthorized activities have severely disrupted traffic flow, increased parking difficulties, and destroyed the peaceful residential environment of the area.

Breach of Official Seal: The site was previously sealed by relevant authorities; however, the builder/owner allegedly broke the official seal to resume illegal construction and commercial activities.

Allegations of Official Patronage: Residents have alleged that these illegal acts are being carried out under the purported patronage of Deputy Director Kamran Ahmed, necessitating a transparent and impartial investigation.

Appeal to Authorities: Residents have urged Mr. Faizan Rawat and other concerned officials to re-seal the site, demolish the illegal structures, and initiate strict legal action against those who breached the seal and any complicit officers.
