ISLAMABAD (HRNW): The Islamabad Bar Association has called a General Body meeting for May 4 to address a resolution signed by over 400 lawyers. The resolution seeks the early scheduling of appeals against the sentences of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha, along with the provision of better facilities for them in prison.
A previous General Body meeting scheduled for April 21 to discuss this resolution could not take place due to road closures. The Bar has now reconvened the session to bring forward the legal community’s unified stance on these matters.
