Iranian Delegation Expected in Pakistan for Possible US Talks Amid Ceasefire Efforts

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Iranian negotiating team is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Tuesday in connection with proposed talks between Iran and the United States, according to international media reports.

A report by CNN states that the delegation will include officials who participated in the first phase of negotiations, aiming to ensure continuity in the dialogue process.

Sources indicate that Iranian officials are hopeful that a symbolic joint declaration on extending the ceasefire could be announced on Wednesday.

The report further suggests that if discussions progress positively and US President Donald Trump agrees to visit Pakistan, there is a possibility that the Iranian president may also visit, potentially leading to a joint declaration by both leaders.

However, CNN noted that Iran has not yet officially confirmed the departure of any delegation.

It is worth mentioning that President Trump recently stated that US representatives are heading to Islamabad for negotiations.
