Turkey Raises Concerns Over Israel-Cyprus-Greece Alliance, Warns of Regional Impact

Ankara (HRNW)- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has expressed serious concerns over the growing alliance between Israel, Cyprus, and Greece, calling it a matter of concern for the entire region.

According to media reports, Fidan stated that the alliance is not only worrying for Turkey but also for Muslim countries in the region, as questions continue to arise over Israel’s expansionist and aggressive policies.

He emphasized that Turkey is not raising concerns without reason, adding that there are clear ground realities behind these apprehensions and that Turkey is fully capable of defending itself.

The Foreign Minister further said that weaker countries in the region are also viewing this military cooperation with concern. He alleged that Israel has formed a strategic alliance with Southern Cyprus that could impact Muslim nations.

Fidan reiterated that Turkey is not pursuing such alliances but is instead focused on reducing tensions and promoting peace in the region.
