Secret ‘Cheating Rooms’ Unearthed at Kala Board Examination Center; Staff Suspended and Center Reorganized

KARACHI (HRNW): Authorities have taken decisive action following startling reports of “special rooms” dedicated to organized cheating at the Government Boys Secondary School, Kala Board, during the ongoing matriculation examinations. On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Korangi, the Assistant Commissioner Model Division raided the premises, resulting in the immediate sealing of the school and the suspension of the Center Superintendent.

Sealing and Rapid De-sealing:

In a swift turn of events, the school was de-sealed just minutes after the initial action following an urgent request from the Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK). Controller of Examinations, Ahmed Khan Chatta, confirmed that today’s scheduled paper will proceed as per the timetable to ensure that students do not face any academic loss, although the center will now operate under new management.

Administrative Overhaul:

To maintain the integrity of the examination process, the Assistant Commissioner Model Division has replaced the entire existing staff, including the Center Superintendent, with a new team of invigilators. An inquiry has been initiated into the allegations of facilitating organized cheating. Authorities have reiterated a zero-tolerance policy against the “cheating mafia” and emphasized that no compromise will be made on the transparency of the examination system.
