Islamabad (HRNW)- A new diplomatic dispute has arisen after a statement released by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on the social media platform “X”.
The Defense Minister said in his statement that “Israel is a curse to humanity” and that the alleged “genocide” is ongoing in Lebanon during the peace talks in Islamabad. He also expressed serious concern over the situation in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon.
The post was later removed from social media, but during this time the statement quickly went viral and became a topic of discussion in various circles.
On the other hand, reacting to this statement, the Israeli Prime Minister called it “extremely provocative”. He said that such a statement by the Defense Minister of a country like Pakistan, which presents itself as an impartial mediator for peace, cannot be acceptable.
After this statement, a new discussion has started in diplomatic circles between the two countries, while the issue is also getting attention at the international level.
