Former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa Passes Away at 90

DG Khan (HRNW)- Former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa passed away in Lahore. According to his family, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa had been undergoing treatment in a hospital in Lahore for some time. He was 90 years old.

Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa first started his political journey as a member of the Punjab Assembly in 1962. He spent a large part of his political life with the Muslim League and held important positions such as provincial minister, advisor, senator and governor of Punjab at different times.

He was also the president of the Muslim League (N) in Punjab during Nawaz Sharif’s exile. Later, he joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf before the 2018 general elections.

Deep grief and sorrow are being expressed by political, social and public circles on his death and tributes are being paid to the political and public services of the deceased.
