Hyderabad, Pakistan (HRNW)- The medical and social circles in Hyderabad have been shaken by allegations circulating on social media and various platforms regarding an alleged 300 million PKR corruption scandal involving Dr. Poonam Jatoi, AMS Training at Civil Hospital Hyderabad. Following these serious accusations, an inquiry committee has been formed, and Dr. Jatoi has been removed from her post with instructions to report to the Secretariat. However, Dr. Poonam Jatoi has broken her silence, vehemently denying the charges and giving the case a new turn.
In an official clarification, Dr. Jatoi stated, “I am completely innocent of these allegations; I have not committed even a single rupee of corruption.” She further clarified that she is currently on a formally approved one-month official leave and claimed she was not given any prior official notice regarding the alleged inquiry or the specific accusations leveled against her.
Dr. Poonam Jatoi expressed her readiness to face any investigation, stating, “If an inquiry committee has been established against me, I am fully prepared to appear before it and answer every question. I possess all the necessary records and documentation to prove my innocence.” She categorized the allegations as a calculated attempt to damage her professional reputation.
