Sharjeel Memon Slams Pakistan Customs for Seizing “Legally Purchased” Sindh Govt Vehicle

KARACHI (HRNW): Sharjeel Inam Memon, a prominent leader of the Sindh Government, has strongly condemned Pakistan Customs for seizing a provincial government vehicle, labeling the move as an act of extreme negligence. Despite the provision of all legal documentation, the vehicle was reportedly declared “Non-Custom Paid” and taken into custody on March 12.

According to Sharjeel Memon, the vehicle belongs to the Sindh Information Department and was officially purchased through an authorized Indus Motor Company outlet. He emphasized that the relevant authorities were presented with all necessary government records and proof of purchase at the time of the incident, yet the officials proceeded with the seizure.

Memon characterized the incident as an unacceptable display of incompetence toward a provincial government department. He has demanded that Pakistan Customs immediately return the vehicle and issue a formal written apology to the Sindh Government for the unauthorized action.
