Karachi (HRNW): Two men allegedly posing as plumbers entered a house in Asif Nagar, Block 9, Azizabad, and reportedly stole 18 tolas of gold and cash.
According to the affected family, the two suspects initially approached the head of the household on the way, claiming they were there for plumbing work. They allegedly gained his trust and subsequently entered the house.
The family said the suspects allegedly carried out the robbery and fled with the gold and cash.
CCTV footage of the incident is reportedly available, with the faces of the suspected perpetrators allegedly visible.
Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation to identify and arrest the suspects and recover the stolen valuables.
