Karachi (HRNW): Sindh Chief Minister has taken notice of the issue concerning sub-registrars who declined promotions and sought details from the Senior Member, Board of Revenue (SMBR).
According to sources, 63 sub-registrars in Sindh had recently refused to accept promotions, after which the matter came to the attention of the provincial government.
Following the Chief Minister’s notice, the process of declining promotions has reportedly been stopped.
Sources said that the officers who had previously declined promotions will now be promoted in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
A notification regarding the matter has also been issued.
