PM Shehbaz Sharif Pays Tribute to Chingiz Aitmatov at Ata-Beyit Memorial in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek (HRNW)- Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Ata-Beyit Memorial Complex in Kyrgyzstan, where he was received by First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Aman Geldiyev and Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Mirbek Mambetaliyev.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid a wreath at the grave of renowned Kyrgyz and Soviet writer Chingiz Aitmatov and offered Fateha. He also laid a wreath at the memorial monument and paid tribute to the prominent figures buried at the historic site.

The Prime Minister was briefed on various historical monuments and the notable personalities commemorated at the complex. Ata-Beyit, meaning “grave of our ancestors,” holds significant importance in Kyrgyzstan’s national history and collective memory.

The memorial complex contains the graves of several prominent Kyrgyz figures and serves as an important national and historical site.
