Pakistan extends closure of airspace to Indian aircraft until 24 August, PAA says

Islamabad (HRNW) — The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a NOTAM extending the ban on Indian aircraft until 24 August 2026. Under this order, all Indian-registered, operated, owned or leased military and civilian aircraft will not be permitted to use Pakistani airspace until 24 August.

According to the PAA, the restriction is forcing Indian airlines to use alternative air routes. The new NOTAM imposing the ban on Indian flights will remain in effect until 24 August, and Pakistani airspace will continue to remain closed to Indian aircraft.
