Netanyahu Postpones US Visit Following Delay in Senator Lindsey Graham Memorial Service

Jerusalem (HRNW)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed his planned visit to the United States next week following the postponement of a memorial service for late US Senator Lindsey Graham.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu was scheduled to travel to the United States on Saturday and remain there until Tuesday, with the primary purpose of attending the memorial service for Senator Graham.

Israeli media reported that the visit was canceled after the memorial ceremony was postponed. Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the prime minister’s trip has been deferred accordingly.

Senator Lindsey Graham, who passed away last week after a short illness, was widely regarded as a strong supporter of Israel, a vocal critic of Iran, and an influential figure in the US Senate.

Expressing his condolences, Prime Minister Netanyahu described Graham as a close friend who played a significant role in strengthening US-Israel relations and supporting Israel’s security.

Political observers say the postponement of the visit could also affect the schedule of other high-level meetings between Israeli and US officials. However, the Israeli government has not yet announced a new date for the visit.
