Karachi (HRNW)- Gold prices continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day in both the global and local bullion markets, with significant declines recorded on Tuesday.
According to market data, the international price of gold fell by $56 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $4,017 per ounce.
Reflecting the global trend, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in Pakistan’s local bullion markets dropped by Rs5,600, bringing the new price to Rs424,136 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs4,801, settling at Rs363,628.
Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs50 to Rs6,289, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs43, reaching Rs5,391.
