New York, United States (HRNW) – The United Nations Secretariat has announced that it does not expect additional budget cuts in 2027 after implementing a series of cost-saving reforms under its UN80 initiative. According to UN officials, the reforms have improved financial stability while allowing the Organization to continue carrying out peacekeeping, humanitarian assistance, and development programmes. Discussions with member states on long-term funding are continuing.
