SHAKARGARH (HRNW): Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal stated that oil prices in the global market would have exceeded $250 per barrel if Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir had not facilitated a ceasefire between the United States and Iran. While addressing a corner meeting in Shakargarh, the minister highlighted that timely diplomatic intervention and efforts by both leaders reduced regional tensions. He further added that this strategic mediation protected not only Pakistan but the entire global economy from a catastrophic energy crisis.
