Keamari Police Arrest Another Fugitive Gutka Dealer in Major Crackdown

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) — The Keamari Police conducted another significant operation against the gutka mafia on the same day in Karachi, arresting an absconding and proclaimed offender with an extensive criminal record.

According to police officials, the suspect Kashif son of Yousuf, who was wanted in 19 criminal cases, was arrested by Saeedabad Police during an intelligence-based operation conducted at Hub River Road.

Authorities stated that the accused was allegedly operating a gutka and mawa distribution setup in the Keamari area. He had reportedly been evading arrest for a long time and was considered highly elusive.

Police further confirmed that the suspect’s name was included in the list of wanted gutka dealers and multiple intelligence reports had been received regarding his activities. He was declared a proclaimed offender in four cases and absconding in two others.

His criminal record spans several years and includes multiple cases registered at Jackson Police Station under various sections related to narcotics, public order, and other offences, along with additional cases at Boat Basin Police Station. Some cases date back to 2018, reflecting a prolonged alleged criminal history.

A fresh case has been registered against the arrested suspect at Saeedabad Police Station under FIR No. 147/26, and further investigation is ongoing.
