Keamari District Police Bust Notorious Three-Member Robbery Gang

KARACHI (HRNW): In a major operation against street crime, the Docks Police of District Keamari have successfully dismantled a highly wanted three-member robbery gang involved in numerous criminal activities across the city.

During the raid, police recovered three illegal pistols, a motorcycle, six snatched mobile phones, and three wallets from the possession of the arrested suspects.


Key Details of the Operation:

  • Suspect Identification: The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Adeel, Muhammad Salman, and Atif.

  • Criminal Profile: The gang was reportedly involved in dozens of street crimes and robberies. They were also wanted by the Frere Police Station in connection with FIR No. 130/26 under Sections 392, 397, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

  • Interrogation Disclosures: During initial questioning, the suspects confessed to multiple robberies and street crimes in high-profile areas, including Clifton, Boat Basin, Frere, and Civil Lines.

  • Modern Surveillance: The suspects were traced and identified with the help of CCTV footage, which played a crucial role in their apprehension.

  • Legal Action: New cases have been registered against the suspects under the Sindh Arms Act. Further investigation is underway to determine their involvement in other criminal activities and to trace any potential accomplices.

The District Keamari Police reiterated their commitment to making the streets safer by intensifying the crackdown on organized criminal networks.
