Sana’a (HRNW)- Houthi rebels in Yemen have announced they are on high alert to counter any potential attack, warning of a strong and full response to any aggression.
According to the Houthi government’s Defense Minister, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, any attack on the Yemeni people will be met with decisive retaliation. He said recent operations against American and Israeli forces demonstrated the unity and effectiveness of the resistance front.
He added that coordinated actions by allied groups have strengthened their military strategy and operations are continuing successfully against their opponents.
Reports indicate that the Houthis formally joined the conflict against the United States and Israel in late March, launching long-range ballistic missiles and drone attacks targeting Israeli positions.
The Houthi leadership has stated that attacks will continue until the war comes to a complete halt, emphasizing their intent to target sensitive military installations.
They have also warned of possible attacks on shipping routes in the Red Sea, raising concerns about disruptions to global trade and energy supplies.
Experts believe this escalation could further complicate the Middle East conflict and intensify regional tensions.
