Mohsin Naqvi, Chinese Ambassador Discuss Security Cooperation and Protection for Investors

Islamabad (HRNW)- Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Chinese Embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave, where he met Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong. The ambassador welcomed the minister upon his arrival, and both sides held detailed discussions on counter-terrorism, security cooperation, police exchange programs, and the overall regional situation.

During the meeting, it was decided to organize a business conference aimed at addressing security concerns faced by Chinese investors in Pakistan. In the first phase, consultations will be held with the Chinese business community already operating in Pakistan, followed by meetings with potential investors interested in entering the Pakistani market.

Mohsin Naqvi announced that a Special Protection Unit is being established to ensure the safety of foreign nationals, particularly Chinese citizens in Islamabad. He added that personnel of this unit will also receive Chinese language training as part of their preparation.
