Tel Aviv (HRNW)- The Israeli military has claimed that it killed Gholam Reza Soleimani, the commander of the Basij Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, in an airstrike carried out last night.
According to an official statement, Soleimani was targeted during the operation. Israel described the killing as a significant blow to Iran’s command and control structure.
The statement further added that the Israeli military will continue operations against Iranian commanders and may take additional measures if deemed necessary.
Meanwhile, there has been no official response from Iran regarding the claim so far.
