Afghanistan Condemns Mosque Blast, Expresses Condolences to Victims

Islamabad/Kabul (HRNW)- The Afghan Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the explosion that occurred during Friday prayers at a mosque in Islamabad and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of worshippers and the injury of several people.

A statement issued by the Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that targeting mosques and sacred religious rituals is completely against Islamic teachings and human values. The statement clarified that such attacks targeting worshippers and civilians are unacceptable and condemnable.

The Afghan Foreign Ministry expressed its heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in the explosion and expressed its best wishes and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.
