Taxila/Riyadh (HRNW) — Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) have jointly developed a Truck-Mounted Artillery Gun System (TMAGS), which has been presented for exhibition at a SAMI facility in Saudi Arabia. The system is a 155mm self-propelled howitzer equipped with a semi-automatic loader.
However, no official announcement has yet been made by the Pakistan Army regarding the procurement or induction of this system. Experts say this joint project is a significant step towards strengthening defence cooperation, technology transfer and local production between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
