Iran Warns War Could Expand if US Continues Military Attacks

Tehran (HRNW)- Iran has stated that it has no intention of entering into conflict with neighboring or other Islamic countries, but warned that if the United States continues its military attacks, the conflict could spread to new fronts.

Iranian military spokesman Mohammad Akramian said in a statement that Iran has always supported brotherly relations, regional stability, and mutual cooperation with neighboring countries. He emphasized that the primary responsibility of Iran’s armed forces is to defend the country’s security, national interests, and sovereignty, adding that all necessary measures would be taken for that purpose.

The spokesman stressed that Iran does not seek confrontation with neighboring states and continues to prioritize peace, stability, and regional cooperation.

However, Akramian warned that if the United States continues its military operations against Iran, Tehran could expand the scope of its response.

He said that if US aggression continues, the war could spread to new fronts, adding that Iran has not yet used all of its military capabilities. According to him, any further attacks by the United States would be met with a response based on the circumstances, which could be stronger than the opponents expect.

The remarks come as tensions between Iran and the United States continue to escalate, with the security situation across the Middle East remaining highly sensitive due to ongoing military activity.

According to political observers, Iran is seeking to reassure neighboring countries that it does not intend to target them, while simultaneously sending a strong warning to the United States that continued military action could lead to a broader regional conflict.
